Medieval Times Dinner & Tournament [VIDEO]

Medieval Times Dinner & Tournament (Facebook: Medieval Times Dinner & Tournament, Twitter: @MedievalTimes), North America's longest running dinner attraction since 1983, is offering Toronto its first new show in more than four years. Continuing with its long-standing tradition, Medieval Times' new show invites guests to travel back to the 11th Century, but this time around with a new story, complete with new costumes, lighting, choreography, battle scenes and a new musical score custom created and recorded in Ukraine.

The kind people at Medieval Times invited me and three friends to premiere their new show. We were all pretty stoked about it since none of us have been to Medieval Times before. Truthfully, I've heard about Medieval Times ever since I was a little kid but I just never got the chance to go.

I was invited back stage to see the majestic horses before the show. Such beautiful creatures.

I also got to see The Royal Falcon, which would do a live flight during the tournament.

The many faces of The Royal Falcon...

I made a short video of the action-packed show! You'll see some of the live jousting, brilliant horsemanship, pageantry, riveting medieval combat and sword-clashing battles from the night :)

Oh right, the food! We had a four-course feast and the food actually exceeded my expectations! Juicy chicken and tender spare rib...the apple pie at the end was also pretty tasty~

THE FEAST (Kosher, Halal, Gluten-free and vegetarian options are available)
Garlic Bread, Tomato Bisque Soup, Oven-Roasted Chicken, Herb-Basted Potato, Spare Rib, Pastry of the Castle, Select Beverages and coffee or tea (a full service bar is available).

Contrary to what I thought previously, Medieval Times is not only for kids 'cause my friends and I thoroughly enjoyed ourselves that night. I thought the show was fun, entertaining and truly well done; the jousting, horsemanship and battles scenes were exciting and really well choreographed. Medieval Times is excellent for families, parties, anniversaries, birthdays, special celebrations or just a night out with friends :)
